Become the first European competitiveness cluster to win worldwide recognition for excellence in
the design, manufacture, competitive operation and maintenance of innovative transport systems
with leading positions in terms of market share, capacity for technical innovation, growth and
attractiveness.

This Cluster has set itself 4 objectives for the coming decade:
Its mission is to bring together and assist all the stakeholders in the textile-clothing sector in the field of innovative textiles and customization thanks to proven economic, industrial, scientific, marketing and technological skills.
"UP-tex", acting as the network's promoter, works in close cooperation with all the scientific, technical and economic resources at a regional, national and international level. It encourages companies to participate in innovation and R&D projects aiming at creating new offers in products and services so as to conquer new markets.
This Pole was jointly established by the scientific community and industrialists working in the fields
of Biology/health and Agro-Food. It promotes, and contributes to, research partnerships in the
field of functional food, nutritional additives and foods to prevent diseases associated with
metabolic disorders and ageing (diabetes, obesity, hypertension...).
R&D general themes :
This Pole brings together, on the one hand, companies specializing in vegetal chemistry and domestic materials (paper, cardboard, glass, ceramics, polymers, steel), and, on the other, public and private institutions focusing on materials chemistry
The objective is to achieve synergies in order to generate economic growth by improving the performances of materials for domestic use.
